Sustainability Report 2025: Every small step counts
At Poppies Bakeries, sustainability is not about one major breakthrough. It is about making meaningful progress, year after year. Our 2025 Sustainability Report reflects that commitment by providing a transparent overview of the actions we have taken and the goals we continue to pursue.
This year's report highlights several important milestones. Our EcoVadis score increased significantly from 53 to 72, confirming the progress we are making across environmental, social and governance topics. For the third consecutive year, we measured our carbon footprint, allowing us to better understand our impact and identify new opportunities for improvement.
The report also introduces our updated Supplier Code of Conduct, reinforcing our expectations for responsible and ethical partnerships throughout our supply chain. In addition, we have defined new packaging targets in line with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and developed a decarbonisation roadmap aimed at achieving Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation by the end of 2026.
As CEO Inge Demeyere writes in her first foreword:
